Guidance 20mm-40mm
When applying Ardex A29, it’s important to target the conventional thicknesses typical for standard cement and sand screeds. Ideally, you should use a minimum thickness of 20mm with a 1:5 mix ratio or at least 25mm with a 1:7 mix ratio. For bonded screeds, consider design thicknesses that can go up to 40mm.
Guidance 50mm-75mm
Minimum 50mm for unbonded screeds. Minimum 75mm for floating screeds. 65mm in lightly loaded (domestic) locations.
