Ardex A35 is an ultra-rapid drying cement designed specifically for creating floor screeds in internal locations. This formulation ensures that the screeds dry quickly, making it ideal for projects that require fast turnaround times.

You can walk on an Ardex A 35 screed just 3 hours after applying it. Additionally, you can install ceramic and natural stone tiles within 24 hours, regardless of their thickness.

Resilient floor coverings like carpet, vinyl, and wood can be installed after a 24-hour waiting period. However, if you use Ardex A 55 Ultra Rapid Drying Self Smoothing Compound, you can significantly reduce that wait time—allowing you to lay carpet and vinyl just 4 hours after application.

Ardex A 35 achieves rapid strengthening and will pass a BRE Screed (ISCR) Test after just 6 hours.

After a day, it will also exceed the acceptable minimum compressive and tensile bending strengths attained by ordinary cement screeds after 28 days.

Uses

Ardex A 35 enables the creation of bonded, unbonded, and floating screeds for interior spaces. It’s also a great choice for making large repairs to existing cement/sand screeds. With its rapid hardening properties, it’s perfect for projects requiring early foot traffic and quick results.
