Uses

Application temperature

The recommended substrate temperature is 15 – 25°C, but no less than 10°C. The temperature of the substrate should exceed the “dew point” by 3°C during application and hardening. Temperatures should not fall below 5°C in the 24hrs after application.

Application time/pot life

Ready-mixed product should be used within 40 minutes at a temperature of 20°C. At higher temperatures, the application time is shorter.

Curing time (at 20°C)

Can be overcoated after 12 hours. Maximum overcoat time 24 hours. The product is fully hardened after 5 – 7 days. High humidity in early stages of cure can result in white, matt surfaces (blooming). Resin screeds/mortars can be applied into wet or tacky primer or, if they are to be applied onto a tack free primer, a sand scatter should be applied to ensure the mortar does not slip during compaction.
