Mapei Topcem – Special hydraulic binder for fast drying & controlled shrinkage

Mapei Topcem is a hydraulic binder for fast drying & controlled shrinkage; as a result, when mixed with graded aggregates (0-8mm) and water, it can produce screeds & mortars that can harden in approximately 24 hours and dry in approximately 4 days.

The Formation of screeds on which ceramic tiles can be laid after 24 hours and natural stone after 2 days., for example, rapid restoration is also required when Patching and repairing floor screeds.

Mapei Topcem – Uses

Topcem delivers bonded, unbonded, and floating screeds on both existing and new concrete, ensuring the optimal foundation for the installation of wood, PVC, linoleum, ceramic tiles, natural stone, carpet, and any other flooring that demands rapid drying for swift installation.

Recommendations

• Do not mix Mapei Topcem with other cement, lime, gypsum Mapecem, etc.
• Do not leave Mapei Topcem dry-mixed with aggregates; immediately add the correct quantity of water to the mix.
• Do not mix Mapei Topccem just with fine sand; use aggregates graded to BS EN 13139 0/8.
• Do not mix Mapiei Topcem with an excessive quantity of water.
• Please do not add water and remix Mapei Topcem after it has started to set.
